Wabash Rider Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Wabash Rider Android app (the "App") and bus.reale.one, published by Joe Wease / RealE.one ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. TODO for Jay: confirm the legal publisher name, same as in the Privacy Policy.
2. Independent app
The App is an independent rider companion. It is not an official product of, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, the City of Terre Haute or Terre Haute Transit Utility. Route names and place names are used only to describe bus service.
3. Estimates only
Arrival times, bus positions and trip suggestions in the App are estimates based on schedule information. They are not live GPS tracking and may be wrong, late or out of date. Service can change because of traffic, weather, detours, holidays or schedule updates. Do not rely on the App for time-critical, medical or emergency travel. Confirm trips with Terre Haute Transit at (812) 235-0109. For emergencies, call 911.
4. Free use and license
The App is provided free of charge. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. TODO for Jay: confirm the App stays free with no in-app purchases or ads, and update this section if that changes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App or its server: no scraping or automated bulk requests, no attempts to overload, break or bypass rate limits or security, no reverse engineering except where the law allows it, and no use that breaks the law.
6. Ownership
The App, its code and its design are owned by Joe Wease. Transit schedule data belongs to its publishers. Maps are provided by Google and are subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the App uses. It is part of these Terms.
8. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for missed buses, missed appointments, lost time or other losses from using or relying on the App. Our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to US $0, since the App is free, or the lowest amount the law permits. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the App, change or stop features, or update these Terms. If we change the Terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. TODO for Jay: confirm Indiana law and the county for any disputes (for example, Vigo County).
12. Google Play
If you got the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Google is not responsible for the App or its support.
